Simulations of Modelocking Dynamics in Octave-Spanning Micoresonator-Based Frequency Combs

Abstract

We use the Lugiato-Lefever model to simulate the temporal dynamics of modelocking in microresonator-based frequency combs spanning thousands of modes. Our simulations are able to predict many of the features observed in experiments.
