Phase-stabilized, 1.5-W mid-infrared femtosecond optical parametric oscillator for frequency comb spectroscopy

Abstract

We present a mid-infrared frequency comb based on a synchronously-pumped, femtosecond optical parametric oscillator. The idler (signal) is continuously tunable from 2.8-4.8 μm (1.761.37 μm) with a maximum average output power of 1.50 W.
