Experimental validation of Angular Quasi-Phase-Matching

Abstract

We validate the theory of angular quasi-phase-matching by performing second harmonic generation and difference frequency generation in a 3.9-mm-diameter sphere cut in a 5%MgO:PPLN crystal and pumped with a tunable laser source.
