Self-Organized Copper Nanowires Studied by Second Harmonic Spectroscopy

Abstract

We demonstrate that the local field near Cu nanowires enhanced by the plasmon excitation gives rise to second harmonic response when the excitation optical field is polarized perpendicular to the wire axes.
