Tunable THz-wave difference frequency generation from slant-stripe-type PPLN based on surface-emitting geometry

Abstract

We report demonstration of surface-emitted THz-wave difference frequency generation (DFG) using slant-stripe-type PPLN. The maximum output was at around 202 µm (= 1.49 THz), which is close to the expected wavelength of 200µm.
