Beam coupling and programmable edge enhancement in photorefractive polymers

Abstract

In energy exchanging photorefractive polymers, we analyze the dependence of the induced change in refractive index on the initial two-wave intensity ratio and the gain coefficient. Using this, we demonstrate programmable edge enhancement.
