Abstract

By measuring repetition rate dependence, it was demonstrated that two-photon absorption induced accumulative thermal effect strongly affects the closed-aperture Z-scan measurements with a femtosecond laser at the repetition rate of 1 kHz for a dye solution even at its offresonant frequency regime.
