Discrete Interband Mutual Focusing in Nonlinear Photonic Lattices

Abstract

We study nonlinear coupling of mutually incoherent waves in a one-dimensional photonic lattice. We demonstrate experimentally mutual focusing and defocus- ing of beams associated with different Floquet-Bloch waves of the transmission spectrum.
