Polarized optical vortex solitons in inhomogeneous magnetic fields

Abstract

Polarized Faraday optical vortex solitons are simulated. The simulations are supported by variational analysis and linear stability theory. Novel features emerge that depend upon the polarization selected and the type of magnetic field inhomogeneity.
