Collisions of (2+l)D Dipole-mode vector solitons in an anisotropic nonlinear medium

Abstract

We investigate the specific influence of anisotropy on generation, stability and dynamic properties of spatial dipole-mode vector solitons in a photorefractive medium, experimentally and numerically. Further, we demonstrate collision-induced transformation of transverse to angular momentum.
