Influence of walk-off, dispersion and diffraction on the coherence of parametric fluorescence in the (2+1)D geometry

Abstract

Considering the (2+1)D-problem of parametric fluorescence from a plane-wave pump, we show analytically and numerically that the walk-off between the down-converted fields leads to spatio-temporal coherence whereas the diffraction leads to an incoherent dynamics.
