Abstract

Temporal solitons in the form of three-wave coupled states are examined in waveguides, exhibiting quadratic-law nonlinearity. Bright and dark multipulse states are studied theoretically and experimentally. Topological charge and spontaneous breaking of symmetry are revealed.
