Abstract
Waveguide arrays are well known as basic components of high power semiconductor lasers or as promising candidates for ultra fast signal processing. Solitons can exist in this discrete environment [1], but their dynamical behavior is modified considerably. Inhomogenities add a further degree of freedom to the beam evolution.
