Not Accessible

Abstract

A comprehensive magneto-optic four-wave mixing theory for guided optical waves in linearly birefringent fibers is presented. The extra sensitivity improvement of 1.2 dB is obtained in a magnetically controllable 2R parametric regeneration experiment.
