Abstract

Using time- and wavelength-interleaved pump pulses in a gain-saturated fiber optical parametric amplifier, we demonstrate amplitude-noise suppressed PSK wavelength multicast with simultaneous NRZ-to-RZ format conversion. The receiver sensitivity is improved by 1.8 and 2.4 dB.
