Abstract

Femtosecond pulse shaping capabilities of wavelength-selective directional couplers are evaluated for the first time. Different practically relevant optical pulses, e.g., femtosecond Hermite-Gaussian, parabolic and flat-top pulses, can be generated from feasible, simple integrated/fiber devices.
