Cross Stratum Optimization of Application and Network Resource based on Global Load Balancing Strategy in Dynamic Optical Networks

Abstract

We present a novel architecture for Cross Stratum Optimization of application and network resource with OpenFlow protocol. Several global load balancing strategies are proposed and demonstrated by experiments on Optical as a Service (OaaS) testbed.
