In-Band SBS Suppression for Optical High Power Transmitter

Abstract

No observable implementation loss is demonstrated with an in-band carrier frequency dithering technique to suppress stimulated Brillouin scattering (SBS) in a 50-W optical BPPM transmitter, contrast to previous demonstration with out-of-band modulation [1].
