TE-enhanced Path Selection for QoS Provisioning in Multi-Domain GMPLS Networks

Abstract

We present a GMPLS-compliant path selection algorithm that supports QoS in multi-domain optical networks. Simulation results show that using TE metrics as the primary path selection criterion is beneficial for networks with long connection durations.
