Abstract

We show experimentally that optical orthogonal frequency division multiplexing using a simple direct-detection receiver can post-compensate for dispersion in 320km of SMF28e fiber at 20 Gbit/s. We also demonstrate a colorless transmitter at 12 Gbit/s.
