Abstract

We demonstrate 40 Gb/s inverted and non-inverted wavelength conversion (WC) in the whole C-band based on a SOA and an optical bandpass filter. The WC is non-inverted regardless if the filter is blue- or red-shifted with respect to the central wavelength of the converted signal.
