Development and Evalauation of Laser Optimized 50 / 125μm Multimode Fibers and Cables

Abstract

We developed a 850nm laser optimized 50 / 125μm MMF, and characterized its 10 Gigabit Ethernet transmission properties. A bend insentive MMF fiber design which was durable against bending diameter of 30 mm was also developed.
