Abstract

All Ethernet Services are not created equally. In 1998 a small company called NanoSpace in Palo Alto introduced the concept and began providing communications services via Ethernet rather than using the standard and traditional TDM based solutions available from the (RBOCs) Regional Bell Operating Companies. Since that time it has become clear that Ethernet will become the next standard communications delivery method.
