ZnCdSe-ZnSe Cladded Quantum Dots using Photoassisted Microwave Plasma Enhanced Metalorganic Chemical Vapor Deposition for Lasers and Electroluminescent Phosphors

Abstract

We have grown pseudomorophic ZnCdSe-based cladded quantum dots in a novel reactor process. Photoluminescence and X-Ray diffraction data have been used to estimate dot dimensions. The optical gain was simulated using an excitonic model.
