Abstract

We demonstrate the polarization-dependant, local-plasmon-enhanced transmission characteristics of light incident on a periodic array of customized, nanoscale cruciform patterns. These characteristics are simulated; the patterns are fabricated on Au and Ag films using electron-beam lithography.
