Abstract

Microphotonic filters require precise control of the relative resonance frequencies of integrated dielectric micro-cavities. Using high-index-contrast microring resonators, we present, demonstrate, and analyze techniques allowing small and accurate corrections of resonance frequencies at fabrication.
