Abstract

Accurate and reproducible quantifications of tissue chromophore concentrations in longitudinal imaging are essential for the successful translation of NIR-DOT. We performed a simulation study on five breast phantoms to evaluate the impact of various experimental errors on reconstructing optical properties and tumor characteristics.
