Tm, Ho:GGAG Disordered Garnet Crystal for Tunable 2.1 µm Cryogenically Cooled Laser

Abstract

Cryogenic conditions were used to improve efficiency up to 48 % and power to 5.5 W of diode-pumped tunable laser based on disordered Tm, Ho: GGAG crystal. Wavelength-tuning range of 1996–2115 nm was achieved.
