Abstract

We report Yb-fiber-pumped picosecond optical parametric generation and amplification in MgO:PPLN across 1884-2444 nm, providing 8.3 W average power at 80 MHz with record pump depletion (80%), external efficiency (59%), and pump threshold (600 mW).
