High-power Far-infrared Off-axis Parametric Oscillator

Abstract

We report tunable narrow-line high-power far-infrared radiation between 3-6 THz from off-axis parametric oscillators using lithium niobate and KTP as gain crystals. We measured tens of kW power at 5.7 THz in an ~80 ps width.
