100 mJ picosecond Holmium Laser for mid-IR OPCPA pumping

Abstract

A high energy Holmium laser has been developed for pumping of mid infrared optical parametric chirped pulse amplifiers. Energy per pulse exceeding 100 mJ at 100 Hz has been demonstrated before compression to 10 ps.
