High Resolution Molecular Spectroscopy Using Dual Comb-like Structures of Fabry-Perot Quantum Cascade Lasers

Abstract

Multiple heterodyne down-conversion of two mid-IR Fabry-Perot quantum cascade lasers is demonstrated. Absorption spectroscopy of ammonia is performed in radio frequency domain with resolution of ~30 MHz.
