Experimental studies of mode instability and thermal induced effects in all-fiber amplifier

Abstract

Mode instability and thermal induced effects in all-fiber amplifier are studied. Results indicate the ultimate output power is restricted by the mode instability, low speed traveling of cladding light and temperature wave are also observed.
