ENZ-Inspired Optical Tunneling through Arbitrarily-Shaped Plasmonic Narrow Channels and Sharp Bends

Abstract

We suggest an alternative mechanism for optical tunneling, based on subwavelength waveguides at cut-off. Such novel setup for enhanced transmission is only weakly dependent of the channel length and geometry, including arbitrary abruptions and bends.
