Abstract
In this contribution we present the generation of non-classical long-range surface-plasmon polaritons (SPPs). The non-classical SPPs are efficiently excited by squeezed light using free space optics and end-fire coupling. A total transmission of up to 33% through a 2mm long sample has been achieved. We measured quantum noise reduction of −0.5dB below the shot noise limit proving the generation of non-classical surface plasmons.
