Light-Wave Guidance through Stratified Photonic Crystal Metamaterials Synthesized by Super-Inductive Layers of Metallic Nano-Strips

Abstract

We theoretically demonstrate the possibility of strong light-wave guidance through a novel class of photonic crystal metamaterial platform entirely synthesized by ultra-low refractive index suspended nano-strips. Basic waveguiding structures can be realized on the nano-scale.
