Polarization selective devices embedded in glass fabricated by femtosecond laser induced nanogratings

Abstract

We demonstrate polarization selective devices for visible light operation fabricated in glass by a femtosecond laser. The devices are composed of arrays of micro-waveplates which are tailored by the laser formation of nanogratings in glass.
