A General Theory of Talbot-Lau Grating Interferometry with Polychromatic X-Ray Sources

Abstract

We report a general theory of the Talbot-Lau interferometry with polychromatic X-ray sources. The theory predicts the fringe visibility and enables quantitative retrieval of the gradients of sample’s projected electron densities.
