Subwavelength focusing and imaging from the far field using time reversal in subwavelength scaled resonant media

Abstract

We show how using time dependent and broadband wave fields, alongside media structured at the subwavelength scale supporting resonant eigenmodes, permits to beat the diffraction limit from the far field for imaging or focusing purposes.
