Tackling False Solutions in Non Linear Inverse Scattering

Abstract

Two different strategies are reviewed in order to counteract the possible occurrence of false solutions in non linear inverse scattering, namely the ‘Contrast Source Extended Born’ formulation, and the ‘Virtual experiments’ framework.
