Nonlinear Transmittance of bilayer graphene in terahertz regime

Abstract

We demonstrate that bilayer graphene exhibits strong nonlinear optical properties in the terahertz to infrared regime. The total transmittance is significantly reduced for ω < 1THz under a moderate electric field.
