Microjoule sub-three-cycle long-wavelength intrapulse difference frequency generation driven at 3 μm

Abstract

We report a 10.3 μm intrapulse difference frequency generation with a microjoule-level pulse energy and an 85 fs (sub-3 cycle) pulse width, driven at 3 μm wavelength for the first time.
