Scalable Frequency Comb Emitters: Fundamental and Practical Performance Limits

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

Recently developed frequency comb sources include programmable spectral pitch, and contiguous NIR/SWIR coverage. The use and limitations of phase-locked, frequency mispitched frequency combs in remote sensing and imaging is described. Application of new source in hyperspectral, speckle-resilient and Doppler-aided imaging is discussed.
