Super-Sensitive Quantum Metrology without Many-Photon Entanglement

Abstract

We present a quantum metrological method that yields the Heisenberg limit without employing a squeezed or a many-particle entangled state. A separable state is used to probe the phase. Entanglement is disadvantageous for our method.
