Broadband Omni-Resonance Doubles the Near-Infrared Quantum-Efficiency of a Thin Film Solar Cell

Abstract

By realizing coherent perfect absorption in a broadband omni-resonant cavity, the coherently enhanced absorption results in doubling the near-infrared external quantum efficiency of a thin-film amorphous silicon solar cell integrated into the cavity.
