Nanoscale Confinement of Vibrational Energy States

Abstract

Polar and nonpolar molecules are confined into 2.5, 5, 10, and 20nm glass pores. Raman signals are then collected to show the effects of nano confinement on vibrational resonate energy and linewidth.
