Controlling Resonance nature and Spectral Line shapes in Terahertz Metamaterials

Abstract

We propose active conversion from symmetric Lorentzian resonance to asymmetric Fano resonance and vice versa by changing the conductivity of split-gaps in THz metamaterials. Such resonance transition can lead to futuristic nano-photonics devices.
