Linear Localization of non-Hermitian Photonic Zero Modes

Abstract

A non-Hermitian photonic zero mode can exhibit an unusual behavior at the transition between extended and localized regimes: it displays a linearly decreasing amplitude in space inside a weakly coupled non-Hermitian reservoir.
