Unequally Spaced Channel Allocation Algorithm in Hybrid DWDM System for Reduction of FWM

Abstract

We propose an Unequally Spaced Channel Allocation Algorithm in a 0.2nm, mixed bit rates, DWDM system, for FWM reduction. Overall performance in terms of covered optical bandwidth, reduced FWM products and received output power is reported.
