Abstract

A simple design with a local signaling component and a networking component of an intelligent transportation network which endows vehicles with awareness of sub-meter local transportation conditions, and which allows speed control and stop control of vehicles is discussed. A standardization for a spatially determined signal protocol intended to prevent accidents is proposed.
